Hotel Steam Boiler Replacement
A downtown Los Angeles hotel replaced an antiquated 200BHP steam boiler due to air quality non-compliance with four (4) 47BHP Smith Cast Iron Boilers packaged with Weishaupt WG40 Burners including a Lockwood G250 Feed Tank:
- Demolished and removed existing boiler to make room for the new boilers
- Sectionals were required due to access limitations with final assembly inside the boiler room
- Smaller units staged together allows for redundancy of operation to prevent total system downtime during maintenance and service periods
Roofing Manufacturer Burner Retrofit
A roofing manufacturer in San Diego selected the Weishaupt WG Series to retrofit two (2) Zephyr burners on an oven. The existing control panel was relocated and the project was completed with no loss of production or delays resulting in:
- Proven Weishaupt reliability with better access for plant operators and service technicians
- Updated control panel configuration for visual identification of burner status for more efficient burner operations by on-site personnel and maintenance teams
- Satisfied client looking to incorporate additional Weishaupt burners elsewhere in the facility for easier operation and maintenance
